The Care Ministries at The Heights provide a place for those who are hurting to experience spiritual healing.  Life sometimes brings tragedies that can break our spiritual legs, making is near impossible to walk with God on our own.  These groups provide the godly support needed to heal and get back into the race Christ has called us to run (Heb 12:1-3).  To join a group is to experience a biblically-based study in a judgement-free environment with people who can relate to what you are experiencing.  No matter what difficulty you are walking through, there is a place for you.  It’s okay to be where you are, but our desire is not for you to stay there.  Through the power of the Spirit and loving support from fellow believers, healing is possible.  View the specifics of each group below.

Care Services provide help to individuals or couples.  They can be started at any time by request and are not focused around a group.  If you would like to receive a care service or volunteer to participate in serving others, see the tabs below.

Prayer Ministry

Upper Room / Prayer Ministry

Make a Difference. Pray Intentionally.

We desire to see every person at The Heights develop an intimate relationship with God through a personal prayer life. We grow in prayer through groups and praying together on the weekend before and after service. Prayer invites the power and presence of God into our lives to accomplish His plans and purposes. There are many ways to be involved through weekend prayer teams, home prayer team, worship nights, and prayer room.

Join a prayer team, or submit your prayer requests at prayer@theheights.org. Please include your name in the message.

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, who shall never hold their peace day nor night; Ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give Him no rest, till He establish and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Isaiah 62:6-7

Homebound

Homebound Ministries

The Homebound Ministry at The Heights enables members who are unable to attend church on a regular basis, to stay connected to the church.

Our Homebound Visitors make regular visits, phone calls and send cards to our Homebound members. They keep them informed of things that are happening at The Heights, provide them with the materials that are being utilized at church, pray with them and for them, and are a friend to them. They also keep the church informed of the condition of their Homebound person.

If you are interested in becoming a Homebound Visitor, or know a Homebound member who should be added to our ministry, please contact Robbie Sutton at 972‐238‐7243 or rsutton@theheights.org.
