EQUIPPING CLASSES
The Heights Equip exists to move people who have a relationship with Christ into a deeper intimacy with Him. Our three courses will focus on unleashing the power of prayer, joining God in the renewal of all things, and empowering a generation of disciple makers. We’ll give you some of the basic tools to live out your faith wherever life happens and bring the Kingdom of Heaven to this earth. Each of these 3-week classes will be taught by leaders of The Heights and free to attend.

It’s been said many other people can do our Monday through Friday job, buy only we can be the parent to our kids. And let’s face it…we need all the help we can get. Join us Wednesday, March 25 at 6:30pm in the Courtyard Room to get better equipped to lead our kids. We will have breakouts for parents of preschoolers, children, and students, and even a breakout for parents of college-age kids.
This class will focus on the two components of prayer: intimacy and impact. Prayer is a direct connection with the Father, and when you pray, you actually bring the Kingdom of Heaven to this earth. In this class, we’ll discuss the models of prayer and also the vision of bringing it into your daily life.
Jesus came into the world and made it better, and we’re called to do the same. Imagine going boldly into your community, and it flourishing as a result of you sharing the light of Jesus. That’s what you’ll be equipped to do through this class. When the Kingdom of Heaven is brought into our everyday lives, we see renewal, both spiritually and culturally.
Our mission as a church is to make disciples, but many of us have no idea where to begin. What does a disciple do? How do you begin a discipleship? We’ll cover all of that in this class. You’ll be provided with hands-on material that covers the fundamentals of discipleship and a game plan for making it a way of life.
